Eastern Koel

Eastern Koel (male)
Here's one from the kitchen window. The Koels arrive along much of the east coast in spring and call day and night. The testosterone among the males seems to be at its peak in Bondi at the moment. Two, usually inconspicuous, males where seen scrapping on the pavement yesterday in broad daylight - and some extreme male/female interaction today. Great times.
