Wasp Spiders

There are lots of Grass Hoppers at Star Lane Pits. Wasp Spiders cast their webs in the dry grass close to the ground to catch them. I saw 3 spiders today, all within 1 meter of each other.

I saw another 3 spiders in a different spot today. All close to each other again. I wonder if the hang out in 3s?

OK. They don't hang out in 3s. I saw 11 spiders (during my brief lunch break) today all fairly close to each other.
