2 out of 3

Me, Lou and Dad Bruty all went to Paglesham Lagoon via Hampton Barns today. We had 3 target birds. Bewick Swan and Black Neck Grebe came up trumps but, as always, Tree Sparrows proved slippery. Good to see some hedgerow packed full of buntings and finches though (until the sparrowhawk ruined the party). 59 species in total to get the year list rolling.
