There was a good 30 min programme on Radio 4 today about birding musicians.
Marc Riley (who I've heard discuss birds on his 6 music show before), Guy Garvey (from Elbow) and Martin Noble (from British Sea Power) go to Shetland looking for Quail and Storm Petrels.

For what it's worth, The other famous people I know that birdwatch are Dermot O'leary (mentioned it once when he was presenting BBLB), Jeremy Clarkson (had his bins with him when they went across africa on Topgear) and Eric Morecombe (who's statue overlooking morecome bay is wearing binoculars). Does anyone know any others?
According to this Rory McGrath, Bill Oddie, Daryl Hannah, Joanna Lumley, Sean Bean, Mick Jagger and Jarvis Cocker.
