Siberian Chiffchaff - Vange Marsh

I took a break from plumbing my bathroom to see the (almost certainly) Siberian Chiffchaff at Vange Marsh today. It didn't call or sing when I was there, but the lack of green in it's upper plumage, the paleness of it's supercilium and the rusty tone to it's ear coverts were all there to be seen.
The bird showed well, having a couple of extended preening sessions allowing me to digiscope it.
I then went for a wander around the marsh, almost treading on an adder. I just avoided it thinking it was a coiled turd! Looking back the snake was giving me evils, and then I saw another 2 close by. One looked pregnant too.
